Marteau & Co returns with The Blueprint, its second themed auction of the fall, in which every watch is blue or a blue-ish purple. The flagship lot is a one-off platinum Philippe Dufour Simplicity with an aventurine dial, estimated at CHF800,000-1.6 million, which is accompanied by a painting by Celine Lust. Other lots include a Louis Erard x Vianney Halter Futur Antérieur Azur built with two Sellita SW100 movements, a Halter Goldpfeil from the 2001 Seven Masters collection, a Paul Gerber Retro Twin ref. 158 limited to 20 pieces, and a Charles Frodsham Double Impulse Chronometer with a natural escapement. The auction is open October 30 through November 6 in stages, and Andrew Cavanaugh of SJX notes that Marteau & Co sponsors the feature.
