Watches, Stories, & Gear: A Touchscreen Macbook, A New Porsche Collab, and Zenith’s Uncertain Future
By Brett Braley-Palko
Zenith is in formal negotiations with employees over around 100 jobs at its Le Locle headquarters, roughly half the workforce there, along with another 100 roles internationally, according to reporting from Revolution, Le Temps and Business of Fashion. The LVMH-owned brand is also expected to reduce its number of collections and close its retail operations until 2029. Brett Braley-Palko of Worn & Wound pairs that news with the Porsche x La Marzocco collection, a limited Linea Micra espresso machine in historic 911 Carrera RS 2.7 colors with a matching Pico grinder. The roundup also covers the Sigma FP2 camera, which Chris Niccolls of PetaPixel calls a brick with a heart of gold, and Apple's first touchscreen MacBook Pro. Braley-Palko says Instagram's test of 90-minute videos holds no interest.
